AstroCamp offical dates are in!
We had about 50 students return the interest form and we were able to secure a spot in March from the 14-16. The original plan was to have it in May but unfortunately, there were no openings at that time.
For anyone who responded as interested, next week your student will bring home a form that will need to be filled out and returned at your earliest convenience.
The $65 deposit will be due by October 4th.
For those setting up a payment plan, After the initial $65 deposit, you will be making 5 payments of $55.
These payments will be due on the last full school day of each month leading up to the camp:
October 31st
November 22nd
December 18th
January 31st
February 28th
We will need a total of 4 chaperones and luckily we had so many offer! Priority will be given to individuals who are already CPR/First Aid certified and have been vetted by the district. The cost per chaperone is $170. I will reach out personally to those being offered the spot by the end of next week.

Hello! We would love to be able to take some of our hardworking 4th and 5th graders to an amazing science/STEM based camp called AstroCamp towards the end of the year! We cannot get set dates until we have a rough estimate on the number of kids attending.

Celebration Day is a designated day each month where students celebrate various events such as birthdays, teacher incentives, class parties, and more. If your student is celebrating a birthday or any other special occasion, it will be recognized only on this specific day each month. For this month, our Celebration Day is on August 30.

A bus was in an accident in Pahrump on 160 near the Pour House. No students were on board. An alternate bus was sent to cover the route. We do not expect any alterations to bus drop off times. The driver was not injured.
